Meet Our Skilled Riverstone Staff

Dr. Ryan Cate, Veterinarian, purchased Grote Veterinary Clinic in January 2016. Dr.

Born and raised in Iowa Park, TX, the daughter of a family physician, Dr. Roose says God gave her the desire to doctor animals.

Malinda joined the staff in February 2015 as a receptionist. Malinda now is Riverstone's Office Manager. She loves working with animals.

Mollie graduated from Brock High School in 2013. She has been a member of Riverstone since June of 2012. She has two loving pets, Fang her cat and Mae her dog. In her spare time she likes to help out her family and friends.

Kristina is from New Braunfels, Texas, and joined RVG in August 2026. She serves as both a receptionist and veterinary technician, bringing 23 years of experience in the veterinary industry as a large- and small-animal technician.

Samantha is from Poolville, TX, and joined RVG in July 2026. She has been working in the veterinary industry for about a year and is excited to continue growing her experience and knowledge.

Jennifer is from Weatherford, Texas, and is currently attending Penn Foster University, where she is working toward an Associate of Science degree to become a Veterinary Technician.

Sasha is from Azle TX, she has been working at Riverstone Veterinary Group for 5 months. She plans on attending Weatherford College to go into the vet tech program. Sasha has 2 cats and 1 dog.

Shalyn is from Weatherford TX, and she has been working for Riverstone Veterinary Group for five months. She is currently attending Weatherford College. Shalyn has 3 dogs and 1 cat who she loves!

Jordan comes to us from Austin, TX and has been working as a groomer since 2018. She has a love for animals and hopes to one day have her own dog rescue. Four years ago she decided to follow her dreams and started her career as a groomer.

Leah is from Brock, Texas, and has a passion for animals, sharing her home with two dogs and five cats. She serves as the Grooming Bather at both clinics and has been a valued member of Riverstone Veterinary Group since September 2025.

Samantha Dospapas is a dedicated veterinary technician from San Antonio with seven years of hands-on experience in animal care. She holds a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) license and is passionate about supporting the health and well-being of animals.
