A rapidly growing mixed animal practice (90% small animal, 10% large animal) is looking for a part-time associate veterinarian to join our team.
For over four decades, we have provided outstanding medical care in Parker County! We are a fast-paced clinic that pays attention to detail with clients and patients while enjoying our work.
Our Brock, TX hospital provides an array of services including:
- Digital Radiography
- Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Cold Laser Therapy
- Surgery with CO2 Surgical Laser
- In-house diagnostic lab (IDEXX)
- Mobile ACVIM Consultations on-call as needed
- Boarding / Grooming
We are open 5 days a week and see emergencies 24/7 to provide our patients with the care they need.

Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or (VMD) degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas, or eligible for licensure.
- Surgical experience preferred.
Our associate veterinarian has the primary responsibility for patient and client care, striving to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care for our patients. He/she must be able to pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to crises, and provide exceptional customer service, including seeing appointments in a timely manner and showing care and concern for his/her patients. He/she must be able to promote teamwork and communicate well with pet owners and staff members. While adhering to all parts of the veterinarian work agreement and hospital protocols, the following are representative of day to day duties and responsibilities of each veterinarian.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all duties expected of a general practice veterinarian.
- Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes; perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical (elective and non-elective) / dental procedures in a way that will deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patients' stress and discomfort.
- Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of their pet’s problems; generate and present a treatment plan for the pet of the client; educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products.
- Maintain client/patient medical and/or surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.
- Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine and attend Continuing Education meetings.
- Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
- Attend doctor/staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
